Baltimore Beer Bottles

Lipsohn & Goldman Dates unknown

Very little is known about this group venture between Lipsohn and Goldman. I can find no record of either person in Baltimore city periodicals where they would exist as bottlers or brewers. By using the glasshouse markings on this bottle all we can determine is that it was made between 1896-1906 leaning more towards 1896 due to the design of the engraving on the slugplate.

Very little changes between 1890 and 1901 at the 748 Gay St address. Unfortunately no information from either map indicates a relation to Lipsohn or Goldman. The 1890 map indicates the property is vacant. By 1901 a store. As only 4 examples of this bottle have been documented the company must have been very short lived.
