Historical Context
Herman Wilms owned and operated this brewery and then also started the Baltimore Berliner Weiss Beer Brewing Company in 1895. He sold his interested in the Globe Steam to William Harker and Andrew Gebhardt. The company name of Globe Steam was no longer used on Weiss and or any beer bottle. Harker & Gebhardt bottled weiss beer with their names embossed after Wilms left. Bottles from Harker & Gebhardt are documented in their section.
