Enterprise Brewery

Historical Context

Elias Adler and Paul Muhlhauser opened the Enterprise Brewery in 1879. By 1882 they have a falling out and Muhlhauser leaves the company. Only two versions of bottles were blown for the Enterprise brewery, both very hard to obtain. As the first is embossed with Muhlhauser's name we know this had to be made prior to 19 Dec 1882 when Muhlhauser left the brewery. By 28 Feb 1888 the brewery is closed with it's contents up for auction including 700 barrels of beer!
